Your brakes are one of your vehicle’s biggest safety components. Inspecting the brake system regularly will reduce repair costs and ensure your safety. We always provide complimentary inspections of your brake system each time you visit

Faulty brake symptoms can include:

  • A squealing or squeaking sound
  • Grinding when you come to a stop
  • Shaking/Vibration when stepping on the pedal
  • Soft/Spongy brake pedal
  • Your vehicle pulls to one side when you brake
  • Fluid Leaks

Although not common, there are times brake systems can fail without any symptoms at all, making routine inspections that much more critical. Driving habits, road conditions, vehicle type, and part quality will all affect overall brake life.

While inspecting your brakes, we check the following:

  • Brake Pad Thickness
  • Master Cylinder
  • Wheel Cylinders
  • Brake Shoe Adjustment
  • Calipers
  • Brake/Hydraulic Fluid (Level and Condition)
  • Brake Hoses and Lines for wear and tear
  • Brake Hardware
  • Rotor & Drum Thickness and Condition

In some instances metal brake lines can break or rust through. We can fabricate new lines or patch areas to keep you safe and leak free.

Regardless of the brake problem you are experiencing with you vehicle, we can get it repaired safely and effectively at the best price. Most brake repairs can be performed efficiently in the same day.

Antilock Brakes (ABS) and Traction Control

In addition to all the mechanical systems of disk and drum brakes, we also fully service the electronics.

ABS and traction control are integral parts of the brake system that are designed to prevent you from going into an uncontrollable skid. These systems use a variety of components to properly function including sensors, pumps, and computers. Often you will find the ABS, brake, and traction lights will all illuminate together on the dashboard when a fault is detected.

If you ever have a light illuminate on your dash, or this system is not functioning properly, schedule a complimentary inspection and code reading.

When servicing your vehicle, we always provide you an upfront summary of everything that needs to be fixed, including a parts and labor cost-breakdown. Your vehicle repairs are always your choice, and we will never do anything without your consent.
